Things they may not want recognized for. So the point is that this board comes together when it matters and when push comes to shove, people come through for each other, even when they have never met. |

BHW is like a HUGE dysfunctional family.....we love....we fight....we make-up....we forgive.....we help each other.....we support each other in prayer and other ways....we DEFEND each other.....we are a "mixed bag" of personalities and that is what makes this place interesting and fun....like coming home and having a "food fight" and then having to clean it up.......

There have been times I told myself I was going to walk away and never come back. But I learned then even when someone seems like they are at their worst on this board, there is always a story behind it. And I've learned the hard way forgiveness goes a very long way.....and pays off in the end. |

Location: MD | I have known some of the BB's on here (via the internet) since before BHW even started. I have witnessed so many amazing things done by this community. I have watched children grow into fine human beings, I have seen horses go from a mere idea for a cross to winning, finished horses. I have seen people grow, get married, have children, sometimes devolve into being children again themselves, support, feed, house one another. I have been beaten up at times on this board and I have been dragged up from some of the darkest places of my life by BB's, as well. The cumulative equine and barrel racing knowledge possessed by the members of this forum is astounding. The capacity for forgiveness, the amount of caring, compassion and generosity is truly awe inspiring. Sure, some may see some of the more dysfunctional times and think we're all crazy, but if you can stick it out, you will see things that you would never believe! |
