What are some good joint supplements that you have your older broodies on?

I put my 26yr old on Pure MSM. I've seen a huge difference in her after about 2 weeks on it. She has athritis everywhere and would just stand around and not even grazing much. Now she will charge at, trot and lope off after the 2 bratty long yearling boys she babysits. She's still spunky and has a good mind and she just hasn't told me its "time" yet. I've used it in the past with great results on other horses.

Talk to your vet, my vet recommends Previcoxx, it works wonders. Cost around the same as an over the counter supplement.

I use THE FlamOxide, my mare has had 2 foals and used to compete a lot when she was younger.

is she still being bred?

I would not want to use previcoxx in a prego mare if I could avoid it

Polyglycan once every 2 or 3 months. Saves you money, it works, and no fuss, You just give her an IM shot. ( people of course will dispute this and say it has to be IV but it does not matter)

Both of my broodies who are going to be 23 & 24 this year are on THE Daily Edge with the joint/arthritis forumla added. They both do great on it.
