There were lots of good ideas on the "Baby Girl Names" post yesterday, so figured I'd see if you all had anything different for baby boy names. I've searched the past posts and have yet to find anything that really really jumped out at me, so hit me with your best.
I think we prefer older names, but theres the odd new name that catches my ear. So far on the "Not the worst idea ever list" we have Roy, Garnet, Jeff, and Pace, but just try getting us to agree on something...

My little guy's name is also Hayse as well.  I like the way you spelled it.  We went around and around on how to spell it.

We have pretty similar taste apparently. I LOVE the name Luke, and hubby says "absolutely not" because he thinks its "femmy". I think its funny because I've always pictured a manly man when I heard that name.

I loved Garret until a friend dated a complete jack@$$ named Garret and ruined it for me, and Kane was both of our favorite but hubby made the mistake of telling one of his friends, and they named their boy Kane

My husband and I had a great debate when we were expecting our first son in May 2011. I literally wrote down a list of 100 names I liked. He vetoed all but about 6 or 8, and the name we chose wasn't even on our short list! The week before our first son was born, I had a thought that since my FIL and husband both had the initials SS our son should too. All the middle names are different, but first and last intials are the same. (Steven Joseph - FIL; Spencer Tate - Husband; Shaun Monroe - son).

Now we are expecting our second son Feb. 13 and have had the great name debate again. I'd like to use his dad's name as a middle name since he passed away in Jan 2012, but we also talked about keeping an S name or a K name. Heck the name that we both like starts with an R.

Haha. Ok, this is a bit creepy... I just added those 2 to my "run by hubby" list before you said that. I think I might like Coy too.

Think western,  not weapons lol
My boys are
Colt Allen and Remington Bates. We get joked around with that we should have another and name him Ruger, but we were actually going for western sounding names not after the guns.

We are expecting our first...in about 45 days and we are naming him Colton (Colt) Henry. I found the first name and loved it but thought there was no way my husband would go for it but he actually loved it. I am into horses and hes into guns so I guess it worked out lol. Then we picked his great grandfathers middle name for his middle name. We actually picked the name before we officially even knew it was a boy, like right after we found out we were having a baby. We both just felt like it was going to be a boy and good thing because I dont think we could have picked a girl name!
