| I have had Dantrolene prescribed for my horse due to RER. After speaking w/the WPRA office I was told to print this form and send it to the WPRA because it is otherwise prohibited unless prescribed by DVM for tying up. You just have to send in one form at the beginning of the season. I was not aware of Dantrolene until I had my horse evaluated at the Un of MN for what I thought was PSSM. I did not realize Dantrolene was being utilized by enough barrel racers that the WPRA knew it needed an annual form just like lasix. I am putting this out there for others who were as ignorant as I was. Live and learn!! I attached a copy of the form for those who are curious.
