Us too. This is not typical Kentucky weather. I don't know how you northern gals function. I was unloading hay last night with 25 mph winds and I was cussing the entire time. I don't even have the gear to wear during these temps! |

Location: Southwest Minnesota | Well, it has warmed up here in southern Minnesota...7 above with a wind chill of -13. Yesterday when I went to work my truck said -16 (that's without wind chill). But the real cold should be here Sunday and Monday when we have highs of -9 and -10 (without wind chill). And we are by no means the coldest place. The grocery store will be a madhouse today and tomorrow...but I will have to brave that at some point. Everyone preparing for hibernation. |

As I was outside last night getting blasted by the wind and cold I got a text message from my BFF. She said....I'm sick of this. I'm going to AZ do you want to come? OMLord why does she have to tease me like this. The moral to the story is don't say that JC I might show up on your doorstep! |

| Our High on Sunday is 6. Low -15. Monday's HIGH is -4 or -6 depending on who you ask. Low is -13. Our wind chills are supposed to be from -30 to -50 depending on how hard it's blowing.
I live in the Southern Tip of Iowa. Ugh. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | 12 degrees right now....warm by recent standards. Supposed to get down around -25 tonight with blizzard warning and winds of 35-50 mph, so if you look that up on charts, that means wind chills in the -60 below range or even lower. This will be a deadly one. |

| We've got a hot streak here! 9 degrees right now in Northern WI. Was -24 yesterday. Sunday and Monday will be nightmares - just updated my weather and it said -13 for a high and -31 for a low.
I just keep asking myself why I live here and make plans to move! Yuck! |

Location: Southern Pennsylvania | As of right now (7:04 p.m.) it is 5 deg. The high was 15 and the low was 10. Next week is supposed to get as low as -9. I was joking earlier today that we need to bring our chickens into the house haha. It might become reality if the temps keep dropping lol.
ETA: apparently it is 1.6 degrees!!! Ahhhh. The ponies better snuggle up tonight. It is COLD!

That's the thing. We're not used to it and not prepared for it. I can't find my winter gloves, I haven't needed them in so long, I don't have good thermal undies, and have never owned a pair of overalls. It's been 20 years or more since it has gotten as cold as it will be next week. |
