Hey guys! It has been a while, how is everyone doing? There is a group of us that are getting pretty close to the big day. Some of you should have had some babies by now (you can post pics!).

I am just shy of 30 weeks! Wow it has really flown by, our nursery is still a catch-all spare bedroom and I am feeling the pressure now to get it done. We are supposedly having a girl (which I so hope is true lol) but I am not completely convinced so I have been putting off doing the baby's room. Although I am pretty sure procrastination is not going to help one way or the other.

I do have gestational diabetes... which is really exciting (sarcasm). I don't eat sweets so they have basically taken away all of my favorite foods :(. What meal is complete without potatoes?! I do have a friend that is due a week before me with gestational diabetes also, so we are suffering through it together lol.

My son has kicked it into protective over drive. "Can you eat that?", "What is your blood sugar?", "I am going with you to the doctor to write down the stuff you can have so I can tell Derek when he gets home.", "Is that more than 20 pounds!?".
I am happy he has been such a big help, but sometimes I just want to carry the groceries in without being interrogated lol.

Anyway, chime in and lets us know how you are doing!

I am 27w3d with baby #3. We have two boys, 6 and 2 and we are having a girl this time. I am ready to be able to do my chores without my hubby wanting to wrap me in bubble wrap lol! I also want to ride again.

I had lost a bunch of weight from morning sickness and I have finally gained 10lbs... 8 of those were in one month... Tyler came home from working in Oklahoma for 3 months and he cooks a big breakfast in the mornings and he baked me a New York cheesecake... He says I needed to gain some weight.

Here's my belly picture from this week.

Hey congrats on the pregnancy!

I gained a LOT of weight the first 3 months, it finally slowed down and I am gaining at a normal rate. I was beginning to panic and thought I was going to be the star in the next Sea World show with as fast as I was gaining in the beginning lol.

I'm 33 weeks :) I have lots of swelling and a huge belly (this is my second) but I am feeling ok. I had higher blood pressure the last few times I was checked so I am hoping that I don't get per eclampsia. I swelled a ton with my Urdu kid too and never had high blood pressure so it wasn't an issue but this time I am a little worried. I have another dr appt on Wednesday. I have had two weeks off work and go back on Monday but I will only be there three weeks and then I am off or about our months. I can't wait. Oh and I have a 2 year old little girl who turns 3 in April and I am pregnant with a boy that is use February 20th.

I'm 24 weeks today!! I feel huge already.
Been doing pretty good, over did it over Christmas, than got sick and dehydrated and had to go get some extra fluid but things are going good again :-)
We are "team green" but got our boy and girl name already. Not worrying about the roomuntil bubs gets here.
I hope April gets here fast! I'd post a picture but I have troubles on my phone

Wish Wish Wish Wish Wish :(

Praying for you.

I'm about 22ish weeks? This is #4 and I'm really bad about keeping my weeks straight! We're having a girl. Everything seems to be going well, although I do feel pretty big already.

Does anyone know how SarahLeighann is doing? I pm'ed her about a week ago because I hadn't seen her on, she was due in feb with a boy, I think. I haven't seen her around though...

I'm only 18 weeks and let me tell you that I also gained A LOT of weight (in my smaller frame) in the first trimester! Which worried me because everyone says you don't really need to gain any. But my appetite has also slowed as has the gaining :) I'm gaining normally now and I even feel less shocked at the Dr. on the scale lol! I told hubby I don't mind gaining weight FOR THE BABY, but I don't want to gain unnecessary weight or the wrong kind of weight to quickly and complicate everything!

So... Let's talk dreams. I've had some pretty terrifying preggo dreams and last night it was terrible- barrel racer style! No one got hurt, thankfully, but I dreamed I got to a huge New Years barrel race (with my dad like back in HS rodeo), and while I was catching up with people I never made it to the arena to watch/listen. Next ring I know they're on #85 and dragging and I'm not even saddled, warmed up- nothing... I'm #100! So then I go to saddle and my horse has someone else's rope around her neck and it's tightened down because she set back against it so I of course calmed her down and took the rope off, then went to grab my saddle but when I got back it had happened again! I looked up and there's 3 ropers standing to the side of the trailer close to the arena (apparently we had good parking lol) ROPING HER! So then I throw her pad then saddle on but the pad slips off and for some dream-reason the saddle on her back alone sends her over the edge and she breaks her halter and goes sprinting around the totally dark parking area (lighting people?!) and I finally coax her back over with a bucket of feed so I put her in the trailer tell my dad to get into the truck, we're going home and as I do I remember I never even entered up when we got there! I didn't even tell him because he would've been so mad haha. BEST/CREEPIEST PART- So I tell him my horse is really on edge and he says she probably has the flu. So he gives me a cream to run around her eyes (?!?!) and I walk back to the trailer and there's a tiny bald man sitting on a park bench in my trailer- I run his eyes and head and assure him the medicine will make it better and ask if he'd like to stay on the bench or get in a stand up stall like a "normal horse." He chooses the normal horse option Bahahaha and there's all this weird junk in my trailer where the horses are and I am apparently unphased by the fact that my horse has become a little bald guy and more concerned with the fact that we just have to clean out this trailer- it's not my dads personal storage place! Lol

YIPES!!!

Don't you just love dreams like that? lol

The other day I dreamed that our baby came out with brown hair and brown eyes like me and I was apologizing to my husband that she got my eye color (he has blonde hair and green eyes). lol I remember him saying, "It is ok, we can dye her hair and get her contacts." I don't know why I was apologizing that the hair and eye color wasn't like his... but I apparently thought it was important. Then after I woke up I realized that in the dream I had just had the baby and she was already sitting up and trying to crawl... skipped right to my favorite stage lol. (I just want to clarify that neither one of us care what the hair or eye color is, only in my dreams lol)

Other then that I just dream of all the places I could have a baby besides a hospital... car, camping etc. and all the things my husband could do to help make that happen. Like stopping by walmart on the way to the hospital cause he needs socks, and I don't make it to the hospital before the baby is born.

Oh he is so cute!

Precious baby! Do they know why he came so early?

I am 33 weeks and go in again on Tuesday. We are having our second boy. Haven't done a thing for a nursery. Don't feel the rush this time around. Not sure why. I guess because we used a bassinet the first three or so months with my older son (who is 4) that I just don't have the same gotta get it done mindset. I kept everything from my first son, so I do need to start washing clothes and stuff.

Weight has been more stable this time around. I gained 40 pounds with my first one, but have gained 19 so far with this one. Could be that this baby does NOT want the daily chocolate malt or peanut butter Twix that my first one seemed to want. If I eat crap food with this one, I pay dearly for it.

My due date is Feb. 23 and we still don't have a first name picked out. Makes me feel bad, but I no longer like the one we first picked and now we can't agree on another.

No idea why he came early, I never had problems until 32 weeks I found out I was dialated 1.5 cm, never had real contractions until I went into labor. I had nothing ready, other than the crib being set up -.-

Well I gained a lot of weight my first trimester and at 32wks it still hasn't slowed down :/... The doctors don't seem concerned, not sure if its because they arnt keeping up with it since the dr office I go to makes me see a different dr every visit.... I am definitely ready for Jax to get here!! I hear a lot I women say they love being pregnant, I am not one of them!!! Hahaha. And I was lucky and never got any morning sickness.

I will be 32 weeks on the 10th, this is our first so we both are getting anxious! We are supposed to have a girl but I won't be totally convinced until he/she arrives. My brother had a baby back in August and it was supposed to be a girl until it came out, so needless to say we are still sceptical. We have done a little baby shopping but so far we have mostly neutral stuff. I am just ready for the baby to get here so everybody isn't watching my every move and telling me what I can and can't do!

I am at 34 weeks today with my first I cant wait to get back into shape and ride and and start running again! Hopefully I will have time! I really miss riding colts too! Or wear my normal clothes! I have gained like 31 lbs already and feel giant! My doctor only wanted me to gain like 25-30 lbs total but how can you not gain extra weight when you cant be as active as normal, and you cant sleep!

I am nervous about the labor/birth part and fiances since the baby was a surprise and until I was informed by HR this week I thought I had 6 weeks of paid maturity leave only to find out there is only the 12 weeks unpaid time they are legally required to and I can only be paid for my vacation time which although I have been saving vacation since I found out I only have 46 hours...yikes! And they want me to work until the baby comes...like I am supposed to call while I am in labor to let them know....Unless I want to use all my vacation before the baby even comes. Uhg seems ridiculous!

Am in the same boat as you with money worries...   I found out my old job was letting go our whole department right after finding out I was pregnant...  :/.  Luckily I got a new job, but haven't been there long enough to get paid maternity leave and don't have much PTO built up....    I sold my main barrel horse to help with finances...   Like we don't have enough worries being first time moms!!!!!    But like I always say 'Life Happens'.

I am little over 19 weeks now, with out first.Just had my doc appt. yesterday, listened to heartbeat again :) The doctor was laughing because Babykins (not sure what we are having yet) was moving all over the place making it hard to get a set heartbeat. Active little bugger!
Going to get our fetal survey/sex reveal ultrasound done probably in the next week. I am convinced we are having a boy though.
Have gained weight, up about 6 LBS from my starting weight ( started the pregnancy overweight though, so doc and I are watching the weight gain part) but finally able to eat good stuff like veggies again. I feel huge already, and miss riding a lot
The morning sickness ( that lasts all day) is still here :( that part sucks. I am just one of the lucky ones I guess

I have been a little wishy washy as far as what I really think I am having. The sono tech asked me what my gut feeling was. I told her I really thought I was having a girl... She says I am having a girl and I don't believe her! I really want a girl, but I am not convinced.

I guess I am just nervous because my nephew was supposed to be a girl and my best friend's oldest was supposed to be a girl... and they weren't obviously. lol I have decided that if we they are wrong about the gender of this baby then every baby from here on out will be a surprise, I don't believe the results anyway lol.

Im 25 weeks, and feeling really good aside from this freakin heartburn! It doesn't seem to matter what the heck I eat or drink, it's gonna give me heartburn! I think I've gained about 20 lbs at this point, but its pretty much all belly and boobs, Im not to concerned. Kinda fun having boobs for the first time in my life! lol

Im still riding when we go to roping practice; my gelding has been off with an SI injury since August and was cleared to start riding for January, so I've been just riding him around a bit bareback and it feels good just to have some bonding time with him. Im not sure what his deal is, but he's developed a weird obsession with my belly and if I give him the chance he will lick my belly for as long as I'll let him. I dont know if theres something on my chore coat, or if he knows his future is being cooked up in there, but theres definitely something he's drawn to, and it cracks me up!

As far as our nursery... well, its still very much a "storage" (aka junk) room. Hubby is off work for a bit so he's been slowly puttering away at it, but he better pick up on the puttering, because we're getting closer and closer to game day here! haha.

Is anyone else's husbands being a HUGE pain to pick a name with?!?

I will be 35 weeks on Thursday with our second. We had a sono on 12/23 and he was breech then, but it will be a repeat c-section. With our first one he was up in my ribs all the time and I had heck breathing. This one has been staying much lower and consequently my hips are killing me. It constantly feels like someone has kicked me in the crotch!

The baby's room will have to share with our office, since we are out of room. Eventually he will share with his brother, but for now I think they need to be seperated. We do have the crib in there, and are getting clothes around for this new one. Probably about a month to go yet...

We haven't decided on a name but have a few we like. I kept our list from the first one, and a couple of our likes are actually on that list! So we will see.. We didnt pick the first son's name until the week he was born!

I'm 24 weeks today and have gained 16lbs. I gained 52 lbs with our daughter and I don't want to gain that much this pregnancy. During this last month, my appetite has definitely hit. I am hoping to only gain 25-35 lbs.

I was in on this when I was still pregnant and had my baby in October. She'll be three months on the 14th! Many of you posting here were pretty early in your pregnancies when I was winding down! I enjoy reading about all your pregnancies, but I don't miss being pregnant. I tried so hard not to whine, but the last month or so was brutal on my back and legs. I gained 43 pounds and have lost 30 of it so far. And it feels SO good to be back in the saddle! I thought I was going to try and ride all the way through, but there was no way that was happening. I did mange to walk my way through two of my three required NBHA shows, (my third was after she was born) so I'm qualified for state finals. Woohoo!

Oh, and if you are thinking about getting an epidural* but are unsure of what to do...get the freakin' epidural. I didn't have one with my first two, but I did with this one. Oh, my stars. I don't know why anybody would have a baby without one!
