I was told that my now gelding has a few babies out there somewhere.  How would I go about locating them? My guy is old now and I would love to have another horse like him.

look up who bred them or who owns them now via AQHA... perhaps they will know where more are located, or know who they sold the horse to, etc

You can start with allbreed--progeny report. You can also get a progeny report on the AQHA website.

If he's registered, start with the breed registration. If the foals were registered as well, they should have records of his foals and who owns them.
