I bred her this yr to Aint seen Nothin yet. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/aint+seen+nothing+yet
She is due the end of May, tryig to decide if I want to breed to a cow bred horse or a speed bred horse again. She has natural rate herself. Just worry about getting something to hot! She didnt get hot herself, she did stop running, was having issues with a shoulder being piched so she just wouldnt run anymore so retired her to broodmare. She raced on track as a 2 yr old had a speed index of 85 I think it was before a bone chip in an ankle sidelined her.

I think what you crossed her on last year was a good choice.  For me personally, I don't like all run. I'd cross her on Flit To Kill or As Good As Nick Gets or Manors Nick Bar.   Or another cow/run stud like Blazin Jetolena.

Being she's an Appi I'd take a look at Troubled Memories http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/troubled+memories

I agree with breeding her to a colored app.  Troubled Memories would be a good one.  I know a lot of people don't believe papers matter.  But they do if you want to sell or breed again. Read the registries rules so you know what you have to do.  Breeding for color is playing roulette, but once you have a colored registry involved you need to stick with the program.  The best possible pedigree and papers will trump the same horse with no pedigree any day.

Personally I really like a cow/run cross especially cutting bred with run and she has so much run in her breeding I would go with cow or at least a cow run cross stud but thats just me.

as for breeding to color she HAS color so I can out cross her and have a registered foal as long as its to a QH, TB or arabian, all within the rules of our club.
For cow/running, which stallions would they be? I am not up on those kind of studs so would appricate all the help I can get with that.
These are some pictures of her so you can get an idea of what she looks like, they arent the best and shes in OK right now at a friends so I can have an OK bred and foaled baby in case I sell it for racing.

I really like your mare :) I like cow/run or vice versa. My vote is for Gay Bars Silver. He's a cutting champion with babies excelling in multiple disciplines. He's a super nice stallion to handle as well.

If you decide to go run I agree with the earlier suggestion of Troubled Memories. If I had a cow bred app I'd love to breed to him.

while a nice stud Troubled Memories does not trip my trigger. And I am NOT just restricted to appaloosas either, which makes it nice, I DO have to be careful though with the double registered horses as dont want to mix paint blood in to my apps, even though to some that doesnt matter.
I like the Gay Bars Silver, remember Silver strikes equal from when I was a kids Gold strikes equal his brother was a race horse.
