All of my horses have been push style. I love it! I just don't like not kicking i guess haha. I love the feeling of coming out of a good barrel and pushing to the next. So I prefer push style.

.hard to say... I like a Push style better but a free runner with a good rate would be ok too.. To me a free style is a horse that doesn't rate well.. Or you have to check hard...or gets carried away with running. I tried an awesome horse the owner said was free runner and he was amazing. ..so I guess it's open to interpretation. :)

everything I run has to crave the turn. I don't like the ones where you have to give everything you've got to get by the barrels. I like the free runners who will turn when it's time. I like a horse who can win making mistakes.

uh I trained and finished a push style horse on the pattern and LOVED him. I also started my mare who was a free runner AND pushy and did not always rate her turns. so the fact that she never rated soured me a little on free runners, but I would definitely try one again. I would not shy away from them. but really like the push style

Free runner - I have a super nice push style horse and I just do not ride her aggressive enough to get her to her full potential. I also am not handy with a whip. LOL.

I guess T-Bo is kinda in the middle. I'd say he is more of a free runner, but he is going to turn. He'll just get by a little bit if you don't ask for some rate. I've tried to get my mom to run him just to see how he is since we've always had push type horses. She for some reason thinks if she forgets to check he'll just keep on running LOL. Definitely not the case. I've had brain farts and put his nose to the fence before, and been prepared to run up it a couple times and he has always chosen to turn the barrel. I like that I don't have to wear spurs or pack a whip.
