Location: Where it isn’t cold! | Shelly has done an outstanding job of taking Scooter to the next level, that of a winning rodeo horse! We had him in our barn for most of his 4&5 year old years. He was a stud at the time. Brenda won both goes and the ave of the 1D futurity at the American West finals on him as a 5 yr old, and placed high(3rd I think) in the 1D go the last day. We hauled him around to rodeos with us as a 6yr old, but it wasn't going to work for us hauling a stud, so we sent him back to the owners. He needed to be somebody's # 1 and that wasn't happening with us, with Brenda having Jethro and Dora. He never ran at a rodeo while we had him, only jackpots, so Shelly seasoned him this last year to the rodeos, and has made him into the rodeo horse that he is, currently sitting 1st in the Montana Pro Rodeo circuit! Congratulations on the arena record and best of luck at the circuit finals, I know Scooter and Shelly can do it!
eta: Scooter is now a gelding.

Yes, she ran only .06 seconds slower than the arena record! It would be cool if she broke the arena record! Very nice run for Shelly Anzick. |
