Your going to have to get a weight on it and a box.  If it takes too big of a box you'll get extra costs tacked on.  Once you find a box use a bathroom scale to get an idea and then go to the websites of usps ups or fed ex and figure it out.

Some of us blond's don't understand your shorthand though.  Most of the time I need a visual.

Most barrel saddles I have shipped have run in the $50 range, but that was in the tiniest box it would fit in. I'm sure due to the weight and size it will probably run more than that.

I boxed them up in a tight box, the bigger the box the more it will cost, so go as small as you can and its better for the saddle to be in a tight box, they can't move around and get scuffed up. And I use now is the USPS, they are much cheaper for me to use, I did use UPS but they cost so darn much now adays. It might cost you around 60 to 75 to ship your saddle since its a heaver saddle.

I can ship anywhere in the lower 48 for less than $30.

HAS TO BE A 18x18x21 box, and ship standard post at post office.

Is that including the insurance on the saddles too?

That cheap a rate for USPS is not going to include insurance....I wouldn't SWEAR to that, but would be pretty certain of it.  That is where the post office SEEMS cheaper....if you don't get any insurance.  And that is risky!!!  UPS insures the first $100 for no charge and then it is a charge per each $100 insured.  And the last 2 saddles I shipped were about $70....that was in the smallest box I could fit it in.  But I did insure it for full price too.  Just some points to ponder....
