Curious to see what everyone's favorite brand is and why.
I bought my first pair of Classic Equine Legacy hind boots last summer/fall and I was surprised to see some of the back stitching was already coming undone. I don't know if it's just my horse digging into the ground that much or if it's a common thing.

I love my classic equine legacy boots. Easy to put on and provide good protection. I've never used the other  brands though so I can't really compare them.

I am not a big boot user, but I have used a variety of different kinds, I hated Prof Choice, they only ones that I thougnt were worth the time of day are Iconoclast and Classic Equine Legacy.

Thank you 15hbay for putting up "Iconoclast" on the poll. I never looked into those before and I'm so glad I now know about them!

I have trouble in deeper arenas with my prof. choice being FULL of dirt when I take them off.

Has anyone had this issue? What brand have you switched to?

Generally I just use polos anymore if the arena is at all deep.

Well for me it is only bad when there is mud and that is when it gets full of dirt. My dad throws them in the washmachine without telling mom....sssshhh ;)

I had that problem.  I got rid of most of my Pro Choice and switched to Classic Equine.  I really like them.

I love my Classic Equine Legacy boots. I find that they fit my horses legs better than the prof choice boots. My horses get run in a lot of deep ground and there is little to no dirt in them when I take them off. Compared to the prof choice boots that I have used in the past they have lasted way longer as well. I have also heard lots of good things about the Iconlast boots but I have never used them.

I prefer splint boots. A lot less bulk. Better cross firing protection. And a whole lot less heat. RES is my favorite brand.

I'm waiting to see if anyone has experience with the Tough 1 boots.

I bought a pair of the Tough 1 boots at QH Congress this year. I actually really really like them. They're very breathable, not bulky, fit really nicely, and the Velcro is almost TOO sticky lol. As for how well they last, I'm not really sure. I have only used them a handful of times so far because they are white and only get used at shows. I will be buying more though!

Aside from that, I use the CE Legacy boots. I don't have anything against Prof Choice boots, I just seem to end up with Legacies all the time. I want to try some Iconoclasts at some point.

I've been wanting a pair of Iconoclast for a few years and I finally got a pair for Christmas and I absolutely love them. They are true to their claim as I have yet to get any dirt inside them. I can't speak to longevity yet but they seem pretty well made. What I Love best about them is how easy they go on. I don't feel like I'm fighting to get all the wrinkles/bumps out and they form fit to the horses leg. It's the next best thing to a polo wrap!

I only use Iconoclast on my horses. They have the best support on the market...all the rest are just knockoffs of each other in my opinion. All have the same "pattern" design but claim they are different. Iconoclast has its own design patten and others just cant compare. Its why you wont find a knock off of them. I love the double sling fetlock support and how it keeps the tendons straight when you put them on instead of twisting them to the inside of the leg...and I can keep them stocked in the "taller" size for taller horses and more support.
The velcro is awesome. I also like the fact that they dont trap much dirt in them too, and I have some hard turning/diggin' horses. its so nice to take them off and not have enough dirt in them to plant taters. lol

I like the Pro Ortho or the Iconoclasts. I like them because of the extra support they give with the slingback design. My Pro Ortho's have lasted me years.

I personally love the Professional's Choice SMB 3 boot on all four legs, with Classic Equine Dyno-Turn bell boots on the front.
