My coworker has a son that is headed to Morgan City Louisiana to attend a scuba diving school. He cannot find a place to live. The school starts in a few weeks and goes through August.
Michael is 23 and was raised in a Christian home. He is a good person. I would have him in my home in a heartbeat. I do want you to know he is Hispanic. He was adopted as a baby. He thought he had found a place and he was open and told them he was hispanic and they told him "No".
I figure if BHW can organize a puppy train, horse train and I have even seen a trailer train to get people things I know in my heart we can find this young man a place to stay while he follows his dream of attending this very special school.
I'm pushing send. Please help me find this young man a place to stay.

I hope he finds something. I have a friend that is an RN and married a Hispanic and could not find a place to live when she moved because she has a Hispanic name. I really thought this was 2014 but not in some peoples' minds. Sorry I do not live NEAR there.

Would there be a person at the Scuba Diving place that might have some ideas for him? Surely they have come across this situation before. It breaks my heart that he has met this kind of discrimination from someone. I don't know WTH is wrong with people. Prayers and good wishes for him.

This is a good idea... I'm in Houma (just down the road) and might know some people that can help you out.
