I am particularly looking for people who have meat chickens (lots and lots). It would be ideal if you did it commercially(business venture I'm working on), and wouldn't mind sharing some info. I have been reading back yard chicken and other things doing research but I have bunch of questions, some easy and some not!!!! I will be shadowing someone to learn as well but want a head start. Pm me please!!

I have raised small batches of 50 birds and finally got the feeding figured out. My first set was not so good. I enjoyed doing it other than cleaning the coop at the finish of each batch. :)

In northwest Arkansas, we refer to them as broilers and you're building broiler houses. We've grown broilers, and my brother-in-law currently has 4 broiler houses. At one point we also had 3 laying hen houses. We had laying hens that laid eggs for hatch--to be broilers. LOL! We are out of the chicken business! Who will you be growing for?
