Does anyone know how to get water stains off of boots?  We had a lot of rain here yesterday and I was wearing my boots and now I have water stains on them.  I thought they would dry out and look like normal, but they didn't.  I've never had a pair of boots that didn't dry back to normal.  Any suggestions?

You might try cleaning them with a leather cleaner and then polishing. I was told that when you clean your boots you need to get all of the leather wet or it can dry a different color. I like to scrub mine with a Lexol cleaner and a vegetable brush. After they dry I polish with a cream polish, then buff with a rag or a boot brush if you have one.

Or better yet, if you have a leather repair/boot repair shop in the area take your boots there and see what they suggest based on the type of leather.
