Can someone explain to me what either of these might look like?

In very simple terms it looks like someone is holding the leg while they walk away-aka stuck. But it is sometimes ever so slight that you can feel it before anyone sees it if that makes sense?
It is also VERY painful btw. Its like hitting your funny bone. Not likely to ever happen during a run but none the less- the sticking causes inflamation so often times you fix the actual locking of the stifle but you still may need to inject the joint as well to get effective healing. IMO

Well, I'm actually trying to figure out what's wrong with my mini, George. I've only seen it a few times in the two months we've had him, and he never "locks up" and can't move, but it's like he's walking along and either his toe stubs the ground and then he stumbles in the back end, or his back leg won't come along like he's expecting it to, and he'll go down just a smidge in his back end. Always the same leg/foot. I've seen it a couple of times in the stall, and then he did it today when I was turning everybody out. After he walked a bit and rolled a few times, he went to chasing my big horses around like normal. He doesn't act like he's in any pain, just kinda like he's got a hitch in his giddy-up occasionally. Really, I wouldn't have thought anything of it if I hadn't seen it several times now.
