So I'm a sucker and adopted a mustang gelding from my work (he has his own post on here somewhere)
Now I need to feed him lol anyways he's been on medium quality alfalfa hay since he showed up at the corrals but now that I'm taking him home I want to get him on a little better feed. I have great quality hay but feel like he could use a little bit of a supplement
He is an extremely easy keeper (aka fat) but his coat is kind of dry and coarse and he was thin and wormy when he was returned and although we've taken care of the worms and thinness he had rubbed out quite a bit of tail hair and it is extremely slow growing back.
Anything out there that would help put a healthy glow on him and help his hair quality/growth rate?

Will DAC oil and other feeds mentioned add to his already significant waistline? I usually feed my boys smart coat but it also helps them pack on more pounds, is DAC the same kind of deal?
