Location: The end of the Earth, SE AR | I got a new desktop computer this past June, and it is supposed to be pretty fast and have most of the needed bells and whistles. I connect to the internet with a Verizon JetPack. My Iphone connection is also Verizon.
I can play a video from FB on my phone and its like watching TV, however playing the same video from FB on my computer is next to impossible, it places 2 seconds of video with about 7 seconds of pause etc.
Are there settings on my computer I need to change and where are they?
Thanks. |

Location: Philly | Would think the jet pack would actually have better reception than the phone which is probably on their 4G network. Silly question, but have you tried using the phone in the same area as the CPU? And if so, does it still upload the videos faster? If not, it is probably simply your reception area on the hotspot. We get good reception on ours, but take it a half mile down the road and no data transfers (no reception). |

That's why I wondered if there was some kind of setting on my computer that perhaps plays the video in too much detail(too many MB vs KB?) so it takes longer to download or play? |
