My vet said I didn't have to leave mine off it.. I do for a few days anyways just to be safe

Mine said 48 hours but he also told me I could do the laser in two weeks.  Ive always been told 5 weeks for the laser.

Location: The Oklahoma plains.		Personally I would wait two weeks just because you want the "meds" to linger in place where as the TP will help with blood flow and circulation and seemingly wash it away. But that is purely my uneducated thought process-lol
