Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | To everyone that came to the clinic this past weekend. I obviously stressed before the clinic but so many stepped up and filled it and those who did made this all worth while. If you didn't get everything you wanted out of the clinic I do apologize and I apologize if anyone was led on to think it was going to be something else.
However, I think most if not everyone that came had a good time and came away with something and that was all we were hoping for. I didn't get to watch or listen to anything sunday but saturday I took away several things that Ashton and I are going to go back and practice.
And the great thing about hosting is I got the clinician with me every night!!! You all missed out on those conversations. Wrapsnap is amazing and he has a way of making sure you know it is ok. I feel 100 times better about my journey just because of this weekend.
I may lose my sanity and do this again as once we were in the thick of it I was having a blast.
I spent 12 hours on the road taking horses to Dr. Tanner yesterday and the video cameras were with me so my husband didn't get to start on the video but I promise each and every one of you will get a copy ASAP. Please don't judge-neither one of us are professional videographers or editors. :)
My work blew up on me friday through yesterday so I need to focus on that today but I have pictures on my phone I will try my hardest to get on here and on FB so hold tight.
Thank you all so much again. I couldn't have asked for a better group to have come and I truly am glad I did this for each and every one of you. |

This statement kind of troubled me.........the ones who attended should be thanking their lucky stars that you got a clinician like Andy and charged them a VERY reasonable....no MORE than reasonable cost to attend. If they only got ONE thing out of the clinic they benefited.......Kudos to YOU!!!!!! |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | Thanks guys. NJJ, I don't mean to mis-represent. I have not had anyone yet that has said a bad word. BUT, I took this clinic to heart so if anyone was keeping their thoughts to themselves and were disappointed, I wanted them to know I was sorry for that.
Truly I have had nothing but great positive notes coming in from everyone and I don't think there was anyone who didn't enjoy the weekend. I think we all could have done without the dang wind on saturday but otherwise it seemed like we made it worth everyone's time to be there and we all had a good time.
I am not lying when I said I truly LOVED the ENTIRE group that came out. What a fabulous bunch. It will be hard to duplicate how great of a group we had come out!!!! |

s&t, this was a fantastic place to be. You host better clinics than some of the professional ones that I've been too. I truly did enjoy the whole group also. We had a good group of peeps that really were interested in getting better and we had a fantastic teacher to help us get there! I'm there WHEN, not if, you decide to do it again!
THANK YOU!!!!!! |

| What little I got to watch was awesome and we are counting on you to lose your sanity again.....your flyer did say the "1st annual" on it.......I'm agonna hold you to it. If you have another, I'll ride :)
I am hoping to get photos on this weekend. Things have been busy here too.
I will say that even if my kiddo had learned nothing, it was worth the price just to see everyone. Both of the participants that came home in my truck were well satisfied and are plotting to maybe fly to Andy's someday for a longer training session. ? |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | lol-well I won't lie. The thoughts for another one are creeping on me. This weekend I am going to take a stab at editing the footage-hubby is taking his civil service exam and is working so I have a lot of alone time this weekend. And much needed.
Thank you all again. I had a lot of fun too and I know so many got so much out of it. That is worth it right there.
And kmc, I wish I could say I would ride too. I took a lot away the first day but had a ton to get done the second day. But what I saw the first day I came away with so much and am looking forward to doing those drills next week when everyone comes back to work. |

| Kiddo won the 2D last night........missed their spot on the first a little, but the second two were really good. Since the second barrel has been her issue, I'd say we're making strides in the right direction. |

Location: MD | I'm all for another clinic in TX! At a rodeo last night and tonight. It was 14 degrees when the girls ran last night. Looks to be about the same tonight, but with way more wind. Teaching a one day clinic in VA tomorrow and it should be a balmy 24! |

Location: west of East Texas | Had to share this to my clinic peeps that aren't on fb. C & G ran two runs today. On the first run today they caught a new gear and found speed I don't think either one of them knew they had. G actually LOOKED like she was running and she usually doesn't look it. They missed the first but never lost their rhythm, finished it where they should have, smoked 2nd, dropped the reins going to 3rd, smoked the 3rd anyway and was .9 off with 200 runners. Came back in the youth, found their place on 1st and cut .4 off. I'm so excited for them. They are becoming a team and C is getting so agressive, ready to RUN! I can't wait until they get their timing to match that speed!
And I won $11 on my newbie. I decided my 24yo mare had enough with the Open run so I loped my newbie in the Seniors. She was 3rd in the 4D running about 6 seconds off and got a check! OK, it was the slowest qualifying time in the Seniors but hey, it paid! ha ha ha |

Location: Central Texas | This is the first chance I've had to get on here since attending the clinic. I had an AWESOME time! I met some great people, made new friends and most importantly gained some much needed confidence in myself and my horse. Thank you Andy and Stacy for making it all possible. I will definately attend again....since it says it will be an annual event LOL.

Location: East Texas | Thought we might use this thread to keep up with how everyone is doing since the clinic. The kids rode this weekend and had a great day. Cole entered 5 events and swept all five. He even made mention of the clinic paying off. Abi entered 3 events and came home with 2 first place finishes. They ride again this weekend in a two day youth rodeo, and we are hoping for the best. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm, and good luck to all. |

Location: west of East Texas | Way to go Cole and Abi! Those are two awesome kids! Are y'all doing the ETYRA?
After Chase ran Geraldine twice on Saturday, Cash (16yo daughter) ran G on Sunday at a double header High School Rodeo in barrels and poles. 1st barrel run was 16.4 (15.8 won), 1st pole run was 21.3, 2nd barrel run was 16.5 (16.0 won), 2nd pole run was 21.4. If consistency won, she'd be all over it. Three of the four runs were good for points/checks. Pretty sure she'll make State Finals in poles.
I'm especially thrilled because in September, Cash's squirrelly horse (not owned by me) flipped over backwards on her at the 2nd HSRodeo as they were going in. 6 hour emergency room visit. She decided not to ride him. Ever. Again. Made me happy. In October, Cash had a melt down at the alley on Geraldine, just scared to death, screaming/crying for me to come get her. November had me standing in the holding pen right beside her. Cash still has me stand nearby before she goes in but isn't crying when it's over anymore. Even though she knows Geraldine is little sister's horse, that G is ready, willing, totally responsive, and honest; even though Cash makes an awesome run once she gets in the pen; Cash is having a real hard time getting from them calling her name to entering the arena. I'm thrilled that she is still wants to enter and that Chase was gracious enough to let Cash use her good horse. I'm also saying special thank you prayers that G seems to be handling the double duty well and letting Geraldine know that this is temporary. |

Awesome that Cash is getting over her fear. We are not doing ETYRA. We are doing PYRA. I wouldn't mind doing ETYRA, but spring time gets busy, busy for us. |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | Hey guys!!! Quick update! We have not forgotten about the video but I don't know squat about getting a video uploaded unless it is on my ipad and I just have to press a button so you are on my husband's time. He has had a big difficulty getting it narrowed enough down that it uploads even to youtube. But he is trying and will get it on a DVD as soon as he can. I am pressing as much as I can. :)
Also, as an FYI, he called to tell me he can't get the sound right. So if you ahve a question on the video of what Andy was saying, you are going to have to talk to him. Sorry!!!
My whole thought on the video was for you to see different riders try the drills and also to give you a video of the drills for reference. It isn't going to be the best video but hopefully something you can use to remember what you learned.
So thanks for your patience, I sure appreciate it!!! |

I truly believe that any video that y'all are able to provide will be helpful. I actually can't wait to see it! You see, sometimes I learn more by watching myself teach than anything. |
