I just recently found out that several horses that I really like (style/mind/demeanor) are Frenchmans Guy bred. I have a DFC grandaughter that I would really like to cross on a FG stud. Does anyone have any experience with this cross?

I bred my DFC grand-daughter to Frenchman's Guy 4 years ago and the colt I have is really nice- not just good looking, but smooth riding, athletic and smart. The DFC and FG's are my favorite!!

I have a DFC/FG cross- both are grandsire or great grandsire. I liked the colt so much as I broke him that I bought a similar bred weanling this fall. Will add that my 4 yr old is DFC on sire side and FG on mare side. Weanling is the opposite.
