I have!  Love mine!  I have the 1/2 bale steamer and the travel steamer.  Super easy to use.  I set them up on timers so all I need to do is reload hay and water and shut the lid-

I'm saving up for one. But in the meantime I'm just watering down hay before feeding and spreading it out on a rubber mat so that she doesn't bury her nose in it and it's not sitting on the dirt. I've seen a huge difference just in doing this, so I imagine actually steaming it would have excellent results.

Yes,I think we could make one.i think a heavy duty box from tractor supply would work better than the plastic tubs

 we got a heavier duty box and did two steamers. We also did some other thingd differently. Just waiting for all the sealant do cure and I am going to test it tomorrow
