42 months is a kick in the teeth. She needs to be locked away a heck of a lot longer than that IMO. |

| Looks like she wont even spend any time in prison as long as she does her 7 years probation. However, she still has sentencing to face in Arkansas on Feb. 6 so hopefully they will send her to prison. |

They should all be locked up for a very, very long time - or tie them to pine trees for 2 weeks with no food or water and then lock them up for several decades. Wonder why they killed the horse Credit Card? This makes no sense.... some people are lunatics and should not be loose in society. |

but i still think it's fair for her part in it......and while she likely won't serve the whole thing, it's no slap on the wrist....plus she has another trial coming up i think.....

Well I think the example your using shows that there is no justice. You can't compare her crime to your example and say it is fair. That's like saying it's fair that somebody got two years for murder because OJ got off. |

Now the Dallas case where the man got 180 days and 10 years probation I believe that was reasonable because his friend that died was an adult and knew that they were both drinking when he got in the car. The teenager that killed four people and got sent to rehab only should have done some hard time though!!!!! |

There is so much more to this story that most will never know. Her and her mom have been in trouble before all of this happened. They all need to be in jail. |

Wendy was also charged regarding insurance fraud and arson (buring their house down for the insurance money)
Billy was also charged for livestock theft in multiple states.
I'm guessing they are going easy on Jaci because she's young. Personally, I think she's just as bad as the rest... especially when she cried rape. That was just pathetic. |

Who burns down their own home and steals horses and a trailer and kills one...are these people just plain nuts or what? Are they actually so stupid that they thought they could actually get away with this? I'm talking serious brain malfunction or drugs or something!!...
I've always been curious about the way the minds of people like this think and how they can keep doing such stupid, criminal things until they are "finally" locked away...I agree that Jaci got off too light....what's going to happen when she gets out...it seems like this dysfunctional way of thinking and living is all she knows, so how can anyone expect her to change? She needed enough of a sentence to make a real impact on her....
Like Dr. Phil says...with a mother like hers, it's not why did Jaci act like she did....it's why not! |

She gets to walk these streets with everyone knowing what a monster she is. She has lost it all...no college, no job, no family, no friends and she gained a rap sheet. I don't find the sentence fair, but perhaps walking the streets with people knowing what a POS she is will be a harsher sentence. She can't hide in a jail cell. |

| I think calling her a POS is being to kind. Our English language has so many more names that really describe her. Personally I think it would be a fitting punishment for her and all involves to be put in a locked room with about 10 of us who are posting on here , that would be justice.
Unfortunately her getting probation and having no means of supporting herself she will get some sort of welfare. Leaving those of us paying taxes supporting this piece of garbage who helped in the kidnapping , slaughter and in humane treatment of defenseless animals. Hope she gets what she really deserves at her next court appearance. |

| OK had to drop the killing of Credit Card against her because they couldn't prove she was there when it happen. She received 42 months for one count and 7 yrs probation for the other counts including the arson charge. At the sentencing hearing her lawyer played the "her momma made her do it" card for both the horse/tack theft and arson. The OK DA wouldn't take any plea deals or let her cooperate with any investigation. He said they had enough evidence and didn't need her. Judge sentenced her and also said she would have to pay restitution which is TBD but could not exceed $5000. During the sentencing hearing a letter was revealed to the court that was received from the Arkansas DA who said they were going to recommend probation because Jaci testified against her mother and cooperated with officials. She is only charged with conspiracy in AR not theft. The OK DA was ****ed, it was the first he had heard about the AR DA letter. Her lawyer who is an ex-DA from McCurtain county, presented a compelling case that she was manipulated by her mother for all the things she committed. Her dad sat on the front row with his sister who Jaci has been staying with since she's been out on bail. There were 30-40 people there to support her during the hearing. A pretty picture was painted on how her dad and aunt have taken her in and keeping her on a straight path. Makes me want to question where he or she was when she was being "manipulated" all those years by her mom.
Word is she is a witch and will not be able to keep clean for seven years. Time will tell. She got off way to easy.
OK hasn't brought her mom to court yet. Thinking is the longer they wait, the more time she will serve in AR and hopefully not just receive a concurrent sentence in OK w/AR sentence. |

I wonder what happened... early on, she admitted being there when it happened. I remember that she said she picked those horses because she didn't like the owners and had some type of romantic problem with one of the owners. In particular, she wanted Credit Card killed. It was malicious, pre-meditated, intentional and she obviously lacks empathy for animals that had nothing to do with her personal problems. She knew those horses were suffering for days and continued the cover up. For those reasons, I think her sentence should have been more harsh. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Here it is... The arrest affidavit http://ftpcontent4.worldnow.com/ksla/pdf/horsedocument.pdf and the story on why she did it. http://www.ksla.com/story/16205191/motive-behind-sau-horse-theft-investigated There was a recorded conversation where she said she wanted Credit Card killed and watched as he was shot, etc. They must have come up with the story later on about him being more difficult to sell. I'm sure they thought it sounded better in court than the truth. Sentence wasn't harsh enough. ...and I hope they include some intense psychiatric therapy. |
