How do you get and where can you find OTQH's? I'm looking for a new prospect and I think re-training one would be great! I've re-trained TB's for English, Hunter/Jumper and even barrels but I'd like to find a good QH off the track. Does anybody know of a website maybe that I could go to?

I completely lucked into mine! My big sorrel horse ran on the track and I know his breeder has a bunch of others bred like him for sale now. Not all of them actually ran because all the Kansas tracks shut down and he only takes the very best ones out of state to run, but almost every one at least breezed on his exercise track. He doesn't have any ads out there, but if you're close to Hamilton, KS and want to check them out, I have his phone number. I went over a couple weekends ago and looked through the pastures. Some really nice horses out there in pasture condition that could sure turn into a steal in the right hands. I have my eye on a couple and so does Matt if tax returns are good to us.

Check out wide open race horses on Facebook. A friend of mine boughthas one of hers and has the mare in barrel training now. Several others are running horses from this lady and live them. They're beautiful creatures. No junk. I bought one out of Louisiana and am getting ready to send
Him off this spring.

BB Kuhlmann! She found my Stoli mare, and she found my Rock Solid Jess filly. And she found me another mare..LOL
I found my Shazoom through Race Horse Place.
My Okey dokey dale daughter I got from a man I bought another horse from
LOL! It helps that I knew that you were looking for in all 3 cases....and in the 1st case I had just told you to buy someone else's horse...funny how things work!!!
I almost always know of horses looking for new jobs. If I know what people are looking for, I just keep my eyes open and if something comes up, I let them know.
