That's cool, some on fb liked it. Reminded me of the movie, children of the corn. Haha the commercials haven't been that great these past few years, there's a couple here and there. |

Location: Montana | Totally liked the Budweiser puppy commercial...then the M&M's commercial was kind of funny. The Doritos commercial was cute too...but the Maserati commercial was kind of creepy. The VW commercial was funny with the wings.

Location: Philly | hyundai commercial with the dad saving the kid was #1 in my book
just my opinion, but would rather see commercials that make me laugh instead of patriotic after patriotic - companies are trying too hard.
surprised more hasnt been said about the cherrios commerical with a mixed couple. like the coke one not exactly being patriotic. |

He is owned by a team roper, he was sooo cute and so well behavied for as young as he is! he was left at the trailer while he rode and he just stayed and watched everyone walk by and he wasnt tied up. that pup followed him everywhere! lol I had thoughts of taking him home with me!

Location: Midwest Farmer's Daughter: Central Illinois | I LOVED the Budweiser commercial with the welcome-home for the soldier. They showed him & his wife/gf in the stands at the game after they aired it, too, which was neat. I enjoyed the puppy commercial as well.
I was conflicted about the Coca-Cola commercial. On one hand the voices they used for the song were good & the scenes were well done. On the other hand, I felt that it pointed out the separation that everyone screams shouldn't exist in the first place. And I am all for English being made the country's official language, so it was slightly annoying in that aspect as well. It is also my experience that people who cling to their own traditions, dress & language aren't generally proud to be considered American, they're just here for the opportunities & are still loyal to their home country as opposed to the USA.
I loved the Doritos commercial. I also liked the Monsanto commercial - it featured a family that SO knows from Fountain County in Indiana. The yogurt commercial with the guys from Full House was suggestive but I thought it was funny.
ETA: I also liked the Mountain Dew commercial with Junior - SO loved it & watched it a bunch on his phone after the game.

Not me. I've lived in other countries and you learn their language/ customs while there, not demand that they become 'Americanized '. That'd go over like a maggot in meat. |

| I will still drink Coke. I kind of got the melting pot point. I didn't pay that much attention to it. The country was founded by people who were not native to here. I think of communities all throughout our country where populations of legal citizens with origins from other countries who continue to teach their language and customs from their country of origin to the younger generations in their families as well as the English language & American customs. Maybe I misunderstood the commercial. I didn't watch closely. |

However I loved the Budweiser comercials (as usual) and the Doberwawa one I died laughing at that one lol the chevy one with the herford bull was cute to. |

The immigrants that came over pre 1980's assimilated. They were so proud to become U.S. Citizens that of course they kept their customs and mother tongue but learned English. I think of the European ancestors and how impressed they were with the Statue of Liberty and all that she stood for, wanting so badly to fit in... Just my .02, and in this economy, it's not even worth that, haha |

You guys realize that the white people invaded America and took it over from the actual Native residents, right?
Whether you like it or not, America IS a melting pot and people speak all languages. |
