Location: SE Louisiana | I've watched several good movies in the last month... The Dallas Buyers Club, The new Hobbit movie and American Hustle all rank right up there along with 12 Years a Slave, Out of the Furnace and Lone Survivor. The biggest surprise for me tho was a Sci-Fi movie I didn't see coming called Ender's Game... This one blew me away. Still can't wait to see The Jack Ryan movie out now and NOAH in early march. |

| wow!! I agree with Dallas Buyer Club and Enders Game ... Enders was A FABULOUS book and yes I am biased but the SO thought it was a great movie too!
I also thought Captain Philips was great! I didn't know the story but my SO had followed it in the media when it happened, so we rented it. Dang I couldn't predict a thing and I do love me some Tom Hanks as a lead actor |

Location: Louisiana | Interesting facts about Dallas Buyers Club... (and I haven't had a chance to see it yet, so I'm not sure how big a scene it is, although it is in the previews) The bull riding/rodeo scene was filmed at LSU Ag Center in Baton Rouge. I grew up running 4-H shows there and still attend their annual rodeo the LSU rodeo club produces (they filmed during the actual rodeo). A couple of my friends were extras behind the chutes and were the actual bull fighter and clown. They just recieved these buckles a couple weeks ago, which I thought was very nice and not expected.

Yes you may ask.. there is a server called viooz that collects these from all over the world and streams them. They have mirrors in 38 countries. I just watched one called Nebraska that will come out on DVD Feb.25th... I recommend this one to anyone that grew up in rural America. I think everybody here will find parts of this they can relate to. |

Location: SE Louisiana | Speaking of TV, The Walking Dead starts up again in a few weeks and for those of you who have not seen it yet, Sleepy Hollow has been renewed for a 2nd season so keep an eye out for that. I like that one. It's kinda fun seeing him compare things then and now... Like when the cop hands him a simi-auto pistol and he fires it once and throws it down, thinking it is like the cap&ball he is used to. You catch the 1st season still on FOX or the web site Project Free TV. |

Saw Harley Davidson and Marlboro Man this morning. King Arthur also. Not new but great watching.

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | On the Revolution that Sebastion is one heck of a warrior and I love how Miles, Racheal, Charlie and Sebastion make plans to break in and out of places, a plan inside a plan and oh so sneaky, Now I think their in one heck of a mess since they split up trying to arrange things, not sure how they will get out of it. My brother and his family love the walking dead. My So don't like that sort of show, I bet it is full of suspense. |
