Location: Arkansas | For my design I worked with Laura at Flying 45 Branding Irons. She is AWESOME! I only had a faint idea when I went to her. She took my idea and made me several proofs from which I could choose my favorite from. I then further tweaked that one to get it exactly like I wanted it. I was very OCD about it and she was extremely patient. She accommodated all my request. They thing I love about their company is that your design is yours. You get the proof of it and they will not make two brands the same.
Their workmanship is amazing as well as their customer service! I will always use them for designing and purchasing brands.
If you look on their website, you can see brands they have made and see if it gives you any ideas. There are also instructions on there on how to proceed in getting a design created.

I believe it can, but you might have to buy the horse brand and cattle brand seperately? Im not really sure. Also, for some reason I vaguely remember a brand inspector friend telling me that you have to pick a brand that has previously been registered in Alberta? I could be wrong there... best to check with LIS. |

Yes the brand has to have been at one time registered in Alberta.....new brands are limited now, BUT if you do some research in old books and bring back an old brand (there are steps to do so) you can find some pretty cool ones! |
