Does anyone know if they ever made their tack with out a makers mark? I know they changed hands a few times after Dennis Moreland sold out. I have seen some headstalls the last few years that I swore were Cowboy Tack, but without a makers mark.

No sorry :( I would like to know if they made tack back in the day for another company and just didn't put a makers mark on them. I collect Cowboy Tack stuff and I just bought one of these no name headstalls off ebay just to see what the differences were to the one I have. Side by side the are the same, same feel, rawhide, same buckles, ect. Just wondering if someone knew why :)
