I haven't posted much about my Moms heart problems but, she was diagnosed last year with A-Fib. Despite several medication changes it was not improving. She had a pacemaker put in in November of last year and still never felt quite right. She was hospitalized about a month ago again, and they found her pacemaker was set way too high. They turned it down and it started helping, but she is still having spells where her heart races. She had a follow up appointment today and her doctor said shes doing "Okay" but not near where she wants her to be and she is looking at having her get a heart transplant if she doesn't improve soon.
Any good thoughts or prayers are appreciated... Im the oldest of 3, I also have a 19yr old sister and a 14yr old brother. We all need to have our Mom around for a lot longer.

Praying for your mother My mother also suffers from A Fib and is getting her pacemaker next week. Her heart actually stops for a few seconds and the meds have done nothing.
