| Looking for a good equine repro clinic as close to Alma, Oklahoma as possible. Prefer to stay away from a large city. Any advice/input appreciated. Thanks. |

Anybody who has a stallion and collects and breeds mares can do that for you. Looks like you are in cutter and reiner country, it shouldn't be a problem to find a breeding facility. Feel free to pm me if ya need help. |

Both of you are way off where ALMA is ... it is not far from I35 and Ardmore Ok which is considered central Oklahoma ... http://www.mapquest.com/#e81be2af82053b3326eb056e
You are lucky ... lots of stud farms in that area ... that can inseminate your mare with their normal vet that does all of their stallions or CS work ...

Google says Alma, Ok is in Stephens County. Said the school consolidated with Velma. I can't read your mapquest. I know Velma is not too far from Duncan, Comanche, and Ardmore. So if Alma is near by then it is not terribly far from those places as well. I didn't say what part of the state it was in, just what Wikipedia told me. I've been in that area of the state many times and it is south central Oklahoma and not too far from the huge city of Loco, Ringling, Ratliff City, Davis, Wynnewood, and I-35. OKC is considered central Oklahoma. Now if the OP would come back and clarify. I know the school in Velma OK is called Velma-Alma because it is a consolidated school.....their mascot is the Comets...and in August they have the big Velma Picnic rodeo. Folks from the east side of the state would call it southwest Oklahoma area. Oh and Velma is the hometown of country singer Joe Diffie. Isn't there a repro place in Wynnewood? There are a lot of folks in the area that raise horses so I am sure lots of reputable vets in the area can do the job. Now there could be another Alma, OK, but this is what I think to be true. LOL Who knows.
