| Long story short ny life has been on the brink of falling completely apart. Tonight my mate is colicing. I have a few horses and would be heart broken if any were to die but this is my best mare, my best friend, my go to barrel horse and if I loose her , well I just don't want to think about it. so if you could keep your fingers crossed while I walk her I'd really appreciate it. |

| It's been a really really long night and after reading my original post I'm a little embarrassed at all my typos. I promise I have an education above 6th grade lol. My mare pulled through. Have no idea what could have caused her to colic. She has good hay and access to warm fresh water 24/7 but after 5 hours of walking and 2 shots of banamine later she farted then pooped! |

Truer words have never been spoken, or typed lol. All I wanted to do was put her in a trailer and take her for a ride, I've been very very lucky that in my 27 years with horses I've only had to deal with colic with my own horses twice before this, and the banamine IV and a trailer ride has always done the trick. I just sold my horse trailer, kid you not, day before yesterday, and I bought a gooseneck but my hitch does not get installed until this weekend! I put her in the trailer hoping that would fool her and she just looked at me like, uhh why are you still in here with me and why aren't we going anywhere? |
