Be sure and read the low heel high heel link as well at the bottom of that article. I need to carry that one around and leave for informational purposes of why I decline on horses like that. I bet 75% of the horses I have looked at have one upright and one underslung.

Thanks Julie! Just trying to find some HUMOR to keep from going crazy! The one I inquired about the transport for did not pass the vet exam, so the search continues.

I was wondering if you found one yet. I've been looking through ads and haven't found any good ones to send you

Lisa, I could write a book about my search - it has been unbelievable the things I have seen and the stories/sales pitches I have heard in the last 6 months!

Really good article, shows the importance of good chiro and bodywork for racehorses. If you are having to inject 14 joints for every race then just maybe something else is going on.
Also shows the importance of breaking your race colts properly so they take both leads easily, and training in both leads. Minor details that are oh so important in the long run.

Wow just tried to read through that article- very wordy but interesting!
In any case I wouldn't trade my exracehorse with 2 different front feet for anything
I must have a good shoer- she is sound and hasn't had any of the chiro or saddle fit issues he describes.
