I don't know much when it comes to the breeding of horses.  I am just wanting to get a little information on the breeding of my newest horse.  Anything really.....I have heard that he has decent papers and his sire was a good one. But I have no idea.....I have only heard of Mr Candyman and Lady Bug's Moon. :

My 4 year old's bottom side is almost identical to your horse. She has a really nice daddy too, but takes more after her mama I think. I LOVE HER. She is very smart, in your pocket, wants to be busy, athletic, beautiful mover--long stride that floats across the ground. She broke out really easy last year and I'll be starting her on barrels this spring/summer. I'm very excited about her, she's the nicest prospect I've had in a long time.  I've heard Mr Candy Man produced some nice barrel horses even though he was promoted as a show horse. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/jesses+all+bling+out

This guy is 18 this yr.  He is 17hh and is a gentle giant.  He has the nicest handle I have ever seen.  I just love his calm demeanor.  I heard the same thing about his sire.  Supposedly he is an accomplished 1-D horse back in his prime.  But thats just hear-say.  I have not been able to find anything myself.  Heck his papers still had him listed as a stallion and had a real picture glued to them.  He was never transfered into anyone elses name.....not sure if they were his owners up until I got him.  I got him from a girl who took him in on consignment.  And he was in pretty poor shape.  I have been baffled as to why they let him sit and loose weight and get thrush so bad he has no frogs because he is such a nice guy.  Sorry didn't mean to go into a book here!!  Thanks for the info.  If your 4 yr old is anything like my guy she is going to be super nice!!  Good luck with her!!

Also.....Ur filly's sire JD is amazing!!  Love that stud!!  Going to be breeding my mare to him next month!!  Im super excited for that baby already!!
