She usually doesn't hit it hard until later in the year from what I've noticed, in past years she doesn't really jump up in the standings until it gets closer to summertime.

Wasnt this a concern last year? Some folks didnt think she would qualify for the NFR because she didnt really start rodeoing till March-ish? I think some professionals need a few months to re-focus. I cant wait to see her at the Reno Rodeo, she is so interesting to watch.

I sure she is riding all the youngsters she has going. She was entered on several and even ran Stingray at Buckeye in January. Isn't she running in the American?

Yes, she is running at the American. I saw her interview on RFD-Tv and she's quite excited about running in that race!
This is not unusual for Sherry....She's busy with colts. she has lots of futurity colts, she ALWAYS stays in AZ for the futurities and usually you dont see her around much till march even april. not out of the ordinary.
Sherry was in Giddings last Saturday riding 3 young ones. She easily won the 1D on Del Rey. I'm sure she's just giving her main mounts a rest while she preps for the futurities and is entering the big rodeos.

Christy Loflin proved last year you don't need to win at the winter rodeo's to make the NFR. She didn't even draw a check until the end of May and ended up 4th going into the NFR.
Kaley Bass didn't hit a lot winter rodeo's either last year.
