Who Wants to Trade?

| I've been mulling this over all day and decided I want your opinion on it.
Which mare is "better" and why?
Mare 1 has produced 15 starters with 1 stakes winner, 2 stakes placed horses, and 5 graded stakes qualifiers, progeny earnings over $520k.
Mare 2 has produced 11 starters with 2 stakes winners, 2 stakes placed horses, 1 graded stakes qualifier, 2 superior race horses, and 2 regional champions, progeny earnings over $350k.
It doesn't really matter, both will get fed tonight, but I'm tired of thinking on it alone LOL! |

| Why does it matter who's better? Both are doing their jobs and producing babies that perform. Isn't that their main point?
If they were both bred to the same studs each year and their stats were what they are, you could maybe say one was better than the other, but if both have been bred to different studs and both are doing that well, I'd say they are both A-OK in my book. |

| It matters because there is a winner in all things and because they are so similar and yet so different, I want to know which is preferred.
I obviously like them both enough to own them, but that doesn't stop me from wondering which is actually the better mare.
Mare #1 has been bred to FDD, MJP, Strawfly Special, etc.
Mare #2's most expensive cross was likely Streakin La Jolla or Royal Quick Dash.
I'm not saying pedigree because at this point in their production records, it doesn't really matter as far as quality of produce, more just in market recognition. |

Let me add even more data though and see if you still think that.
Mare #1 - 15 starters, 14 ROM, 10 winners.
Mare #2 - 11 starters, 11 ROM, 10 winners. |

| There is no right or wrong answer (I don't think?)....but now you know what goes on in this poor tortured brain of mine!
Mares 3 and 4 are also fun but I'll save them for another time so my mind doesn't blow up. |

Mare 1 is Go Adrianna and I should have a Stel Corona baby mid April.
Mare 2 is Cymbidiam, she had a Pool last year, open this year, booked to One Sweet Jess for next year. |
