I was really wanting a trailer thats 8ft wide but I came across a trailer that has everything that Im looking for.

It's a 4horse Keifer with mangers, but its only 7 ft wide.......

The floor lenght is 25

here are a few pics, Do you think I'll have enough room? I dont have big horses by anymeans, but maybe one day I will..

Just from experience a 7' wide with mangers is tuff.  I would say no mangers in a 7' wide trailer and definetaly mangers in an 8' wide.

That would not work in my opinion.. 7 half with mangers is hard enough unless angled just perfectly.. I always have 8 wide and if its 7 1/2 I go no mangers.

I have a 7' wide trailer with mangers.  I don't have any problems but I can see where some people might have issues.  The horses have to back out as there's not enough room to turn around.  I've had fairly large horses and they fit fine.

Close one of the stalls and measure the length from manger to back wall.....then compare to an 7-1/2' or 8' trailer....Depending on the ANGLE of the stall, it may very well be the same or close!

I have a 7 foot wide with Mangers and it has been fine for my horses.
The biggest horse I would put in the last stall. What I don't like about it
is the LQ's width.

It depends on how wide the mangers are compared to the width and how big your horses are.
I prefer at least 7'6" wide with mangers...

I have only hauled with 7' wide.. but no mangers and it is ok. the bigger horses still cant turn around, which I have only had a problem with one horse.. and sold her anyways lol. I have had my horse in a 7' wide with mangers though, and would not purchase one if I could help it. Without mangers, yes, but mangers, it just seemed very cramped for the horses and for doing things while the horses are loaded.

Even if your horses have enough room you won't like the LQ.  I wanted a 8 wide but hubby bought a 7 wide keifer 3 horse then we went to a 8 wide 4 horse and he said he couldn't believe how much more room that extra foot in width makes.  I don't ever want to go back to 7 wide.

I think you would be sorry down the road. At least have 7.5 wide if there are mangers in it. Look at the better Lq you would have too.
Resale down the road would be better too.

Here's my opinion:
8 wide with mangers
7 wide no mangers.

I agree with the rest. I have a 7'6" wide and my 16.2 gelding fits but can barely turn around in the front stall. If you're hauling under 15.2 I'd
say you're alright but I can't imagine 17+ fitting comfortably.

I have a 7 wide but dont have mangers it is ok except the living quarters still seem small at times and I have no storage for stuff except in my front stall.  I would personally love to have an 8 wide with mangers for the storage.
