Anyone ride in one?? I like the feel of the bob marshall treeless saddles, but didn't like the boxed in feeling. Do they have the same feeling??

Love mine, got it last year. I like that I can adjust my stirrups as far forward or backwards as I like, sits you deep, and fits a lot of my hard to fit horses. The only horses that I have noticed that it absolutely does not fit is mutton withered horses.

Do you have issues with rolling or slipping back?

I hate bob Marshalls, feel like your stuck on your pockets and can't get up off my butt.  Sibleys feel nothing like that.  Feels like a regular treed saddle with a slight amount of give.  Never had it roll or slide on a horse, that's riding a variety of body types.

So far I haven't had a problem with it sliding back. As far as rolling, It will if you don't use the right pad. I've noticed neoprene and felt roll, but seem to have had luck with a 100% wool fleece. The more you use the wool pad and the horse sweats in it the more the lanolin from the wool keeps it in place. The first few times you use the pad you'll notice a slight roll with it until you get it nice a sweaty. I own several Billy Cook saddles and it seems to me I have more feel in my seat and legs with the Deb Sibley.

I think the Ultra Flex is treed.... Isn't it? I know she has treeless but I was thinking that the Ultra Flex wasn't one.

I think it's treed in the same way the BM is treed, but the material bridging between front and back is stiffer. I had one before they started making them wider and it pinched my mare on one side. It needed to be wider.

I just ordered a brand new sibley on tuesday. Its the second one Ive had. Love them will not ride in any other saddle. Fits all my horses. All I do is use a different (thinner) pad on my mutton backed horses. Its the only saddle that wont slide up over my hard to fit horses withers and neck. Even a round skirt will do it. I have ridden in the mountains for almost nine hours and no pain in my knees or hips. I cannot ever say enough good on these saddles. Thats with 35 years of riding.

Woohoo for new saddles from refunds lol. I'd never be able to convince my fiancé to spend the amount on a saddle without the refund as an excuse lol

I would never have been able to get it either without the refund. My husband is still grumbling about the cost. But grumbling quietly i told him I could still make it fancier and spend more money hahahaha

great saddle. I own two. Make SURE you get the upgraded leather...they didn't offer that when I bought mine, and honestly, the leather is pure crap. Even though I love the fit, for both horse and rider, the quality is POOR if you do not upgrade. JS...
