Im curious where ya'll order your saddles and saddles pads? After school Im really hoping to start riding more regularly. Then maybe at some point in my life time I hope to have the opportunity to order either of these or BOTH! (gasp, I know) Anyways, what brands do you use and where do you usually order from? And what the average price?

Thanks in advance and Happy Friday!!

I went to Teskey's and bought my barrel saddle there. My pad came from Martha Wright. It depends what you need, and what is best for your horse. Start saving your money, those items are not cheap.

I order all my saddles, pads, sport boots etc from Leanin Pole Arena in Killdeer, North Dakota. She is fantastic to work with, can get you whatever you need, and you can't beat her prices:)

I just got a brand new 5Star pad from Rockyroad. My current saddle is a Billy Cook that has held up nicely. It's ten years old. I am saving up for either a Crown C or a Caldwell (hopefully the Caldwell if I can just keep saving and not settle for something else and once I have a horse I know that I will be keeping for awhile).

The best advice is to save, save, save, save and then save some more. Good tack is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I order from wherever I can get the best deal. I found a place called a bit of tack carries bigger gullets and cheaper prices in the crown c.
For saddle pads, I use csi pads I have bought from Randa and have also bought down at Vegas and this is the best deal I have found.

If you have the cash and are not in a hurry you can find great deals new and used.
