I have been needing to get my owners manual out, but seldom think of it until I'm driving...
My daily driver is a Ford Edge, and it has Sync that I have easily figured out and operate easily. I can also plug my phone into the USB port to connect it if I don't want to use the bluetooth.
But for hauling I have a 2010 Dodge with the upgraded sound system in it. It has U-Connect, and I have my iPhone paired with it, but I'm trying to figure out if I can stream music off my phone through my pickup's system. Currently, I just have a jump cable that I plug into the AUX outlet, but you have to use the phone to operate it, and I figure that's akin to texting and driving. There is also an iPod port in the glove box, but if it's in there, I don't have access to my phone if needed for a call or navigation. Anybody know?
