Lower Cervical Spine issues?

Subject: Lower Cervical Spine issues?

Just had a bone scan and soft tissue workup done and lit up in the lower cervical spine. Has anyone had a horse with lower cervical spine issues like arthritis to where you can inject it and still be able to run your horse comfortably? My horse is still at the vet and will be there for a couple more days but was always showing lameness in her hind end but in fact it isn't there but her cervical spine. Any knowledge on this is appreciated!

 Haven't had it in one of my own but have seen it in some others.  I have a friend who has two cutters with arthritis in the C7/T1 junction and she gets them injected with great results.  Glad you had a smart enough vet to look in to area, it's often missed-

Thanks! I know..it took us a year of injections in other areas which did not work..or only worked for 3 weeks but that was most likely due to getting short relief from the steroid used with the injections. I pray this works!!
