Location: Southern OK aka God's Country | I finally decided to blog. Along with 9 million other people lol. My first one is over the American, because I'm getting to go and I can't contain my excitement!! SO feel free to read and comment if you are bored and need something to do at work on a Friday :) Don't be hateful though my feelings get hurt easy. But I do like constructive criticism any day.

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | Yay!! Good for you!! I started blogging again last week. I tried last year but I was following everyone's advice and only blogging once a week. Well, if I want to do it I have to do it consistently. So now I take 5 minutes and blog during the week. I talk about everything. I figure I have some pretty cool adventures and what not and I am a chatty cathy anyways so why not just put it into words.
Today I am going to blog about the importance of rain. :)
You did good!! |

Lol maybe you can summon it!! We are so dry. ..
And thank you! I was so nervous to publish it, and not really sure why! I am not even really sure how it all works on my site, if people can follow or what. I have just always loved writing and reading so I thought what the hell. :) |

Location: NE Texas | Awesome job! You have me in tears already!!! LOL I wish I was going to be sitting next to you, but i'm not. I too am so caught up in The American....not because of the money, but because it has given opportunity to those people who are stay at home moms, caretakers, young, old, rich, poor to compete at a level once unimaginable. It has motivated me to get out there and work hard again knowing that there should I make a horse that can run at that level, there is a possibility that I too can one day do this. I'm pulling for June.....she is one heck of a woman and I admire her. I'm pulling for them all actually. I think it would be pretty outstanding for Clint to win it as well, but there isn't one person running down that alley on Sunday who wouldn't be deserving I don't think. Regardless of whether one made their horse, or bought it, or borrowed it.....it takes a heck of alot of work and blood, sweat, and tears to be competitive at this level and I can't wait to watch! Thank you for your blog....I certainly enjoyed it and i'm experiencing those same emotions to the point I can't sleep for being so excited. It's like the excitement I felt as a child waiting for Santa. |

I'm more excited about the American than I have been about anything in a long long time.
Not that some don't do it, but it takes so much $$$$$ to go down the road and break into rodeoing for a living. Once you're past college age and have responsibilities, it's darn near impossible. It's not that every one of the people running aren't incredible hands with a horse, but that it would be lifechanging for some of them to win it. Rodeo on a shoestring and rodeo without the financial worries are two very very different things. I HOPE this becomes an annual event and it's something I will dream about competing in someday. |

I cried in either the pedigree or purina commercial that airs during Westminster, the one with the I am Great song. It's a tearjerker! |
