Location: Dubach, LA | I know it's mass produced like Bar H and Reinsman, but it's so pretty and unique. I wonder if it would be worth it to sort of have "disposable tack" that would hold up for a season. So who has used it and how did it hold up? |

Location: Dubach, LA | Thanks, Julie. Maybe a few more people will chime in before bedtime. I'm thinking about buying a bunch to resell (after picking a piece or two for myself). It's all so cute and different. I wouldn't care if it didn't last five years. |

Location: Stephenville, TX | I apologize ahead of time, but I have to comment. Showman is not unique. The rip off original designs from American companies and mass produce them in their factory in India. And Showman is not the only Indian company that does this, they're just the largest. I've caught them using MY photos of MY work off MY website in THEIR sales emails and on Alibaba (an importer/exporter website). It stands to reason though...they are far removed from the industry they're trying to serve and they don't understand what their American customers want, so they just steal ideas. |

Location: New York | All the sets I have seen in person look cheep. And a few students of mine had sets from them. They look cheep and fell apart very quickly. One of the sets had a large stone on the cheek piece on the side of the headstall. The horse rubbed his head 1 time and it fell off. Another set was hair on and the hair all fell off in weeks. The only thing from them that I saw and though was decent was a pair of stirrups with heart shape cut outs. Personally I would not buy any of there tack. |

And that right there is enough reason to avoid them. We've got to embrace the mentality of putting Americans first, even if we go without or save longer to buy something. The good thing about buying quality is it has good resale value, so your cost of ownership won't be bad if you take care of your stuff. |

| Made the mistake of buying a Showman headstall and hated it. The leather was stiff and the buckles were SHARP - yes, SHARP. I cut myself on them trying to get the stiff, plastic leather out of the keeper. Not worth it. |

Well, i sure didn't know that or i wouldnt have bought anything from them. I bought some spur straps off of e-bay, they're pretty, but the leather was (and still is) so stiff, that i liked to have never gotten them on my spurs. And in person, they look cheap, good thing my jeans cover them |
