When I found out my horse was a bleeder I panicked, I tried 5 month of a bleeding herb with no luck, he bled through it, I tried 3 month of another bleeder all natural formula, tried one time without lasix and again no luck. I promised myself and my horse I would not let him bleed again as every time he doe it compromises his lungs and health, I'm done with trial and error, it's not worth it.
So my question is, how much time should You give for a supplement to work efficiently an effectively??? Was 5 months enough time for it to be in his system and working properly? Did I give it a fair chance? I feel like if an antibiotic can be effective in a few days and continue to stay in your system why can't an herb? I know some medicines can take 3 weeks to work so I feel like I gave all that stuff plenty of time to do its job!!!

Yes 5 months is more then enough. To be fair to any suppliment, 30 days should show you whether it is working or not. At least show solid indication it is. It is also impossible to compare a suppliment's time fram to work to ANY pharmacuetical drug. They are not a pharmacuetical. They are a over the counter and can not use pharmaceutical ingredients.

You have a bleeder? Put your horse on 2-3 packets of Knox gelitan a day! I know gals who've had terrible bleeders they've put on Knox that dont bleed anymore or hardly bleed! Terri Tackitt being one of them

That should be ample time to see if it works or not. What kind of grain is your horse getting? If you are giving a sweet feed or anything that contains a lot of sugar, that is not going to let anything heal. Sugar weakens the immune system as well as other stuff.

It should be in the system by the end of the loading dose. I strongly reccommend Lung Aid by Choice of Champions International. In my opinion all perfermance horses should be on it but ESPECIALLY BLEEDERS.. Let me know if you would like any further info and a coupon.
