Location: So. Cali. | What are comparisons between the two? Had a Pozzi briefly, LOVED it, but did not fit my mare. Noticed the Lynn's dont hold the price tags the Pozzi's do. How much different are they?

| I have never had a Pozzi either, but I have a LM I love. It doesn't fit everything, but it fits my leaner horses with big shoulders great. It has a nice shoulder flare. I do feel like the seat runs a little big--but I have always felt that in Double J's. |

| They are new-- You will be able to see them at Diamonds and Dirt! There are only a handful of them running around, and all are different and unique. Great great saddle.
Here is a photo of mine--- sorry if it Is so big, I tried to resize but it is being difficult.

Location: So. Cali. | Price is up there on the Duke saddles as it is on the Pozzis, which is the problem I'm facing. Cant find the ability to put that kind of money out on a saddle so I'm searching thru used. May be a while before the Duke saddles come up for sale used reasonably. Thank you for your input & info tho!

I was able to get new Double J Pozzi at a quite a discounted price by ordering it through a dealer directly. I was shocked how much money I saved. |

| They ride TOTALLY different the Pozzi puts your feet behind you IMO and the Lynn under you or slightly forward I love a Lynn and HATE a Pozzi my friend is a saddle dealer so I ride in a TON of different saddles on a lot of different horses. Give her a call and she can explain the differences to you 931-261-5888 |

| I just sold my two lynn's to buy a pozzi. I had both the nueva and the wide fit lynn. Now I have the wide tree Pozzi. The only reason I sold my LMs happened to be because they were way to big. Seat sizing are different between the two saddles. I ride a 14" pozzi and I had 14.5" lynn's which in reality I needed 13.5" in them.
I would honestly call and talk to Lynn if you want more information on them and talk to her. She helped me out a ton and the saddles she sold me were perfect fits for my horses and rode really well but my own lack of knowledge got the best of me when I thought a 14.5" would ride the same size as my pro rider I moved up from (whats worse is it took two years to realize that I was swimming in space). She is very knowledgeable and sweet. I think she could help a lot of people knock off some time in the pen if they would just get some suggestions on her saddles.
I chose the Pozzi to try something new and I love it so much. It works great for me. I had my futurity mare fitted while we were in OKC and rode in one to make sure I liked it. I also talked to Lynn again while I was there but she didn't have any 13.5" saddles to try.
My opinion, I would own either in a heart beat, resale value doesn't really bother me because I plan to keep them but even if I don't I look at what is on the market. I see a lot of Pozzi's for sale frequently but not many LM... |

as far as fit on your horse, how did the Pozzi wide compare to the LM wide?
I have a LM that's a hair narrow on my mare, tried a friends LM Wide on her and it fit great. I'm having trouble finding a LM Wide I like, but have seen several Pozzi wides. I'm wondering if that wouldn't work just as good if the fit is the same. |

I really think my Pozzi is a tad wider but I could be wrong. I used a 3/4' five star under both and the LM fit tighter under it than my new pozzi does. However, the horse I used it on I'm referring to has had the winter off so the difference may be that he isn't as muscled as he could have been. I'm sorry that doesn't really answer your question clearly.. |

Location: Lala Land | IMO the LM sits you up more straight. Pozzi has more of a scooped out seat and it's easier to really sit in a turn, but still allows you to stand up and kick across the pen. I love my Pozzi so much but it's definitely a different feel than other saddles. Double J has a demo program if you don't have access to one near you.
Also, when I was at Double J getting my horse fit I was able to sit in everything. He suggested the Duke and I said "I think it's above my price range" he told me that all the saddles have the same base price, most vendors are just ordering more options on the Duke's. |

Location: Alberta, Canada | I have a pozzi, a lynn and a duke. If I had to pick one to run in it would be the LM. I find it sits deep like the pozzi but is a tad bit more upright. Unfortunately, I got my mare refit and she is actually a standard tree pozzi so my LM Nueva is for sale :(
I like my duke for just riding.. it is seriously the comfiest saddle out there! |
