Not very many sanctioned shows in my state. I like to go a few of the Larger shows. Pay back is hard to justify.
Example: $55 to enter, win the class= $124.48 + dixie National Champion jacket, few AQHA points.
Second horse, $55 to enter, place 3rd= $ 92.00+ coffey mug& few AQHA points.
fuel to travel 300 miles one way, expenses to camp out and eat. Lets just say you have to have a lot of "fun factor" to do it.
That was a quad judged class. Most are single points with out added $$$.
