Anybody running offspring of this stallion and crosses that work with that line? or have run in the past? The good and the bad if you have any knowledge of him. Thanks :)

RUNAWAY BUD was a local stallion here on the tx/ok border and I have bought a lot of hay from his owner ...
This is the only barrel horse I know of that run local jackpots and was talked about ...

Ryann Pedone set an arena record on a Runaway Bud daughter, etc and she was out of a daughter of easily smashed. I have a daughter of runaway bud in my broodmare pen that I love love love, this girl is big boned and just built to last. I bought her from a girl that was breeding her to some backyard stud and she STILL produced nice babies. Left her open last year and am breeding her this year to a Sun Frost stallion. I'd love to go the FWF route in the future with her, but im staying away from race lines with her.
Edited to add the name of the mare Ryann ran is TCS Runaway Susie. There's some good videos on youtube.

There is also a Perks Streakin Bug baby out of a daughter of Runaway Bud. I would get with them and see how that cross turned out, 2010 model I believe.

I own & compete on a daughter of Runaway Bud out of a JOH daughter & she is very fast, sensitive & quick. If I ever breed her I'm leaning toward FG bloodlines. I would love to own a couple more just like her.

A good friend of mine owns a daughter of his and she was a gritty tough as nails solidly made mare who did really well until she chipped a bone in her knee.
My friend let me breed her and so I have a yearling out of her by Firewater Finale that is the best minded colt I've ever had the pleasure to be around.
I have high hopes for his future.
