Husband and I are planning a move to tx next year to be closer to son. I'm an rn and husband is wanting to start rn program after we move.
We are looking at 3 different areas and I would love opinions from personal experiences.
Looking at dallas area, tyler, san antonio, and weatherford.
I've been researching nursing programs in all areas.
We are wanting to know more about experience at any nursing programs in those areas as well as general living info for horsey people.
Any experience and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I live near SA. Have taught at the Health Science Center, love the RN program there. Great programs in our area for RN's and especially BSN's! We need more nurses!

Location: Finally horseback again....
UT Tyler and TJC have a great nursing program.
I work in Lindale just north of Tyler.
I wouldnt advise living in Tyler but the smaller towns around it are very nice. Lindale, Flint, Whitehouse... All small town feel but close to the city.
As far as horse related activities, there is something pretty much every night within an hour or closer.
