I know there was a thread on this awhile ago, but I can't seem to find it. My family has a female black lab and she's been our well loved family dog since she was a little puppy. She's getting up there (will be 13 yrs. old in April) and we're noticing she's getting stiff and slightly limping especially in the mornings when she first comes out of her dog house. We think its the beginning of arthritis and have been looking into getting her on a joint supplement to help make her more comfortable. We're also interested in any general health supplements as well. Any you've found that work well? Thanks!

In my experience I've had great results with Platinum Performance CJ (canine, Duh). My B.C has arthritis in his front shoulders from keeping a crazy momma cow off of me and literally saving my life.
I like and chose the Platinum because of the research with their product but also for the guaranteed analysis of what is in the supplement, the made fresh dates on the package, and the best by dates on it too. I've had no problems getting him to eat it and at this point we don't even wet his food, he just cleans his entire bowl. And, the price was very comparable to other products on the market.
I think as long as you have a reputable product with Glucosamine and HA you can help the furry friends pretty well combat the arthritis.

Tight joints plus. We were asked to make a dog version by multiple vets because they were having so much success treating joint and pain issues with the horse formula on dogs.

About a year ago my dog started getting daily Cosequin tablets and monthly Adequan shots. I could see a lot of improvement. About 3 months ago I switched from Cosequin to Dasuquin and am seeing a slight improvement when he gets up after laying down for awhile.
