WOW I am in that program now and couldn't even IMAGINE going through it all and then changing careers! I am sorry that's happening to you! What about nursing research or working for the state?

I have been a nurse for many years and have a few reasons for looking into a change. Was looking for ideas for bridging out instead of in, lol! I am familiar with the numerous opportunities for nurses just wondered what else was good and not to far of a jump to change. I probably won't end up changing but it is a thought.

NP and PA are good suggestions (due to regular work hours), but what about teaching nursing? In our area there is a huge need for nurses willing to teach the nursing profession.
