My grandma and uncle took my mom to the ER yesterday because she couldn't keep anything down. The radiation has been really hard on her and she's been really sick. They found out she has swelling in her brain and she was having trouble with some motor functions last night. She was stable in the evening and the neurologist and oncologist are supposed to check her out today. She's back in ICU. I'm at the airport now headed up there.
Please pray that this is just a side effect of the tumors dying and not something worse. It's too soon. She's a fighter and I know she'll hang on as long as she can. I want her to spend as much time at home and with her kids and grandkids as she can. That means she needs to get out of that hospital. All prayers/thoughts are welcome.
Headed north again.....
